Building software with intent.

I’m Justin Figueroa, a Computer Science student focused on software engineering, cybersecurity, and game development.

Focus

Engineering across boundaries.

I’m most interested in work where development, systems, and security overlap.

01

Software Engineering

Building reliable software across C++, Java, F#, and Python with an emphasis on fundamentals, maintainability, and practical problem solving.

02

Security Engineering

Developing hands-on experience with networking, application security, Splunk, Linux, defensive controls, and secure-development practices.

03

Graphics + Vision

Exploring OpenGL, LWJGL, computer graphics algorithms, Raspberry Pi systems, and computer-vision workflows.

An interactive security lab, not a static case study.

A dedicated environment for controlled OWASP demonstrations, vulnerable-versus-protected comparisons, security telemetry, and hands-on defensive analysis.

About

Curious by default. Methodical by necessity.

My path into computing started with games and grew into a broader interest in how software is designed, how systems fail, and how they can be made more secure.
